"²Joshua Pilcher was born in Culpeper County, Virginia, where he married, and where, perhaps, all of his children were born. He removed to Lexington, Ky., in the year 1793. He had eight children, namely: ³Fielding, ³Shadrach, ³Benjamin, ³Zachariah, ³Moses, ³John, ³Joshua and ³Margaret Pilcher." (continues)
