Find A Grave entry (never a primary source) gives Henry's exact birth date in 1833 from his gravestone; however, the 1850, 1860 & 1870 censuses indicate a birth year around 1836-1837...more appropriate to his mother, Catharina's (Katrina's) age. This may indicate that the Heinrich, son of Nicholas is not this Heinrich Ruhl, husband of Fredericka Rinne. Since Henry/Heinrich only appears in the censuses in St. Louis once during each census period, it would appear that this is our Henry.

Heinrich married E. Frederika Julia Rinne. E. was born on 3 Nov 1837 in Hessen, Germany; died on 5 Jan 1917 in St Louis Co, MO; was buried in Elm Lawn Cemetery, Town and Country, St Louis Co, MO. [Group Sheet]

That Caroline Ruhl was the daughter of Adam Ruhl & Caroline Westmeyer Ruhl; who are now shown as her parents. Therefore this couple, their children and ancestors have intentionally been orphaned from the main tree represented on this site. If a relationship is found later (which is a probable reality), they will be reconnected with the appropriate relationship.
