Multiple versions of lineage exist beyond this Bodegisal, including this one going back to Nero Claudius Drusus Germanicus 38BC-9AD...father of Emperor Tiberius Claudius Drusus Nero Germanicus 10BC-55AD. This lineage was compiled around 800 by the Carolingians at the peak of their power, and undocumented, it is regarded by many modern genealogists as spurious.

Another pedigree suggests Bodegisal as son of Bodegisal, with an entirely different lineage.

No lineage is proveable for St. Arnulfo Bishop born 582. Therefore, inclusion of this lineage from St. Arnulfo II to Nero is anecdotal in purpose.
