NOTE: If we are indeed not confusing two Edward WINSLOW's here, these notes change his mother from Elizabeth FOLIOTT to Katherine ???, and give him a third wife, Susanna ???-WHITE.
Yes, there is a 2nd Edward Winslow of the Mayflower. This Edward died in England in 1620, and is father to the other Edward.
Brief note 2008: It appears that Gov. Edward Winslow, son of Edward Winslow of the Mayflower have been confused. There is much controversy on the lineage of these Winslows and their spouses, etc. Many citations appear to be assumptions, and documents connected to people without evidence they are indeed records for those specific people...a practice common but not helpful in genealogy.
Edward married Eleanor PELHAM about 1583 in Droitwich, Worcestershire, England. Eleanor (daughter of Sir Herbert PELHAM and Catherine THATCHER) was born about 1566 in Sussex, England; died about 1593 in Droitwich, Worcestershire, England. [Group Sheet]
Edward married Magdalen OLYVER on 3 Nov 1594 in St. Brides, Fleetstreet, London, Greater London, England. [Group Sheet]
