1921-MO Birth Certificate as Alvira Lillian Schwartz

"Elvira Elizabeth Schwartz"
Two stories exist about Elvira's birth name, both from Elvira herself.
1. It was a mistake on the birth certificate. (Margaret her granddaughter told this by Elvira.)
2. Alvira did not like her name and changed it. (Doug Couch told this by Antoinette her daughter, in Elvira's presence.)
Footnote: The 1930 census, being the first census she could appear in, lists her as already named Elvira, making the birth certificate error the most likely. (previously give as 1900 census, a typo)
