It is unknown whether Catron is Goldie's maiden name or whether she was married previous to Samuel Russell. A previous marriage is likely as she is shown with a 4-year-old in the 1930 census with Samuel's family. Although this child is listed as a "boarder", clearly 4-year-old children do not pay or work for board.
